Il Comune di Genova protagonista al Mipim di Cannes 2022

15/03/2022

Palazzo Galliera, Villa Donghi, RSA Quezzi: these are the main projects that will be presented by the Municipality of Genoa at the new edition of Mipim, the great international event dedicated to real estate investment to be held from 15 to 18 March 2022 at the Palais Des Festivals in Cannes.
An exclusive showcase, under the theme "Driving Urban Change", will bring together the most influential operators from all sectors of the international real-estate industry and will offer an unparalleled showcase to countless development projects and capital research projects from over 100 countries from all over the world.

On behalf of the Municipality of Genoa, the Councillor for Urban Planning and Redevelopment Projects, Simonetta Cenci, will be present, speaking at 3 different times during the event.

"Once again this year we will be at Cannes as guests of the Italian Pavilion - says the Councillor for Urban Planning Simonetta Cenci - and never before have we felt that the theme is appropriate for our city: accompanying urban change is what the city of Genoa is doing through its ambitious urban regeneration projects and interventions. In addition to those that will be presented in Cannes, I am obviously thinking of the Eastern Waterfront, the Valpolcevera Park and the Red Circle, the Hennebique and the "Caruggi Plan". The kermesse promises to be, once again, another opportunity to share the major transformations that are redesigning the future of Genoa: a city that is increasingly revealing itself as an ideal place to work, live and be happy".

On Wednesday 16 March at 10.30 am, at the Italian Pavilion, he will present the city's investment opportunities, in the slot "Urban development opportunities in great cities and regions". This will be followed, from 1.45 pm, in the Ruby Room of the Palais des Expositions in Cannes, by the Italian conference, "Development and opportunities of the Italian market", which will be a further opportunity to highlight the city of Genoa's attractive role.
Lastly, on Thursday 17 March at 10.30 am, he will present the project for the enhancement of Palazzo Galliera, during the thematic meeting devoted to housing entitled "Italian Gallery: Housing - Residential, Student, Senior and Social".

The moderators of the meeting will be Jacopo Dettoni, deputy editor of fDi Magazine - Financial Times, the economist Marco Leone and the Councillor of the Order of Architects of Milan Marialisa SANTI.
