This is the leading trade fair for the real estate, property market and construction industry. The model of Genoa 2030 will also be showcased, the 6 x 2 metre three-dimensional wooden model, on a scale of 1:5000, representing Genoa, from Voltri to Nervi, with the new infrastructural works.

The City of Genoa is landing in Cannes for the 2024 edition of Mipim-Marché international des professionels de l'immobilier. The annual event, taking place until 15 March in the Palais des Festivals and des congrés, is the largest trade fair in the real estate, property and construction market.

About 22,500 visitors were accredited at the last edition, more than 6,500 investors, 90 countries were represented, and more than 300 stands were set up. The Municipality of Genoa will be exhibiting at Mipim with a desk inside the ICE stand, as part of the Italian Pavilion, and with an independent stand in Riviera 9, next to the Italian Pavilion.

Tuesday, March 12th, Councillor for Territorial Marketing Francesca Corso will present 'Genoa 2030: the city of the future', with a focus on sustainability, connections and attractiveness. The Caruggi Urban Regeneration Plan for the historic city centre will also be illustrated to the audience. On Wednesday 13th Councillor for Urban Planning Mario Mascia is expected to participate in a focus on urban regeneration and the Eastern waterfront. On Thursday 14th, the Mayor of Genova Marco Bucci and the President of the Liguria Region Giovanni Toti will present the Genoa of the future and the model of Genoa 2030, created by Stefano Rossi, owner of the studio-laboratory 'Stefano Rossi Modelli'.

The projects will be introduced to interested potential investors through institutional and technical B2B meetings led by the staff of the Genoa Municipality's Territorial Marketing Department, supported by the Genoa Business Unit (GBU), a unit created by the Genoa Municipality's Economic Development Department, as facilitator in enabling the administration to meet businesses, investors and workers. MIPIM 2024 participation sees the Municipality of Genoa collaborating with the Liguria Region, the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority, the Chamber of Commerce, Liguria International and Renzo Piano Building Workshop.
